Özet
Burhaneddin Belhi, İbnül emin'in ifadeslyf e "seyyar şiir" şairi, Abdullah Ceudet'ln değerlendirmesiyle "Neuayf'' denginde bir şair ue ediptir. 1849 yılında Afganistan'ın Belh şehrine bağlı Kunduz'da doğmuştur. Saygın ue köklü bir aileden gelir. Yendbf'u'l-meuedde yazarı Şeyh Süleyman Belhi'nin oğlu, Melami-Hamzaui şeyhi Abdülkadir Belhf'nln kardeşidir. Afganistan Türkistan, bölgesinden olan Belhf ailesi, Afganistan'daki İngiliz işgali ue iç çatışmalar nedeniyle Süleyman Belhi'nin öncülük ettiği kalabalık bir kafile eşliğinde Afgantstan'dan ayrılıp İstanbul'a göç etmiş; aile fertleri hayatlarını İstanbu/'da sürdürmüştür. Burhaneddin Belhi, İstanbul'da Türkçe ue Farsça yazdığı şiirleri ile tanınmış, ancak zamanla unutulmuş bir şairdir. Bu çalışmada, Belht ailesi kısaca tanıtılacak, Burhaneddin Belhf'nin dostlarına yazdığı ue kendisine gönderilen Türkçe mektuplar, yeni harflerle sunulacaktır.
Burhan af-Din Bafkhi is a poet who wrote his own poems both in Turkish and Persian in some classical forms tike gazel, mathnaui and rubai. He comes from a great respected family that emigrated /rom Balkh, Afghanistan to Jstanbul. He fs the son of Shetkh Sulayman Balkhi, author of Yanabiu'f-Mawadda and brother of Abd al Qaadir Balkhi (1839-1923) who is a famous mystical poet and sheikh of MalamiyyaHamzawiyya tariga between 1877 and 1923. Burhan al-Din Balkhi was bom in Kunduz, Bel h in 1849. When he was about thirteen years old, his family moued /rom Balkh in the year 1853, because of British lnuasion of Afghanistan and aduerse circumstances in the country. When the Balkhi family reached to Baghdat with a crowded conuoy, Sultan Abd al-Aziz inuited them to Jstanbul. Su/ayman Bafkhi and his family arriued at Jstanbul in 1861. Su/ayman Bafkhi and his two sons, Abd alQaadlr and Burhan al-Din Balkhi spent the rest of their's life in Jstanbul. Burhan alDin Bafkhi liued in this city until his death in 1930. He wrote both Turkish and Persian Dluan and some flteracy letters that show his connections to some important personalities ilke Jamal al-Din Afghani and Shetkh ar-Rais, the prlnce of Gajar. His Persian /etters include forma( features. These Turkish _ letters below demonstrate his literary taste.
