| dc.description.abstract | Sembolizmin ve sürrealizmin öncülerinden biri olan Gerard de Nerval, en yaratıcı dönemlerini, ruhsal bunalım içinde geçirdi ve birçok kez akıl hastanesine yatırıldı. Ümitsiz bir aşkla bağlandığı,1842 yılında ölen oyuncu Jenny Colon’u düşlerinde yaşatmayı sürdürdü ve Aurélia’da onu kendisine kurtuluş vaat eden Meryem Ana ile özdeşleştirdi. Düşleri, gündelik yaşamla doğaüstü olaylar arasında bir köprü olarak görmüş ve yapıtlarında kendisini cinnete sürükleyen düş ve deneyimlerine yer vermiştir. Nerval Aurélia’da; aile, cinsiyet ve ölüm gibi psikolojik takıntılarını(obsesiyon) deliliğe varan ifadelerle dile getirmiştir. Roman da biri aklı başında, sakin ve araştırma aşkı olan, diğeri şizofren düş ve kabus gören iki ayrı Nerval vardır. Aklı başında olan Nerval, diğer deli Nerval’in düşlerini ve kabuslarını gözlemler. Gördüğü rüyalar güncel gerçek ile içe içe girer. Bu da kendisini psikolojik bunalıma sürükler. Aurélia, adeta Nerval’in edebi bir vasiyetnamesidir. Bu romanda kronolojik bir olay sergilenmemiştir. Romanın kurgusu içinde klasisizm, romantizm gibi edebi ekollerin eleştirisi yapılmıştır. Bu yönüyle çağdaş romana etkisi olmuştur. Proust gibi çağdaş romancılar ondan esinlenmiştir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Gerard de Nerval considered as one of the pioneers of the symbolism and the surrealism, passed his most creative life in the psychlogical distress and has been placed several times into hospital for mental diseases. In his dreams he continued to live with an actrèss Jenny Colon dead in 1842 . In his novel Aurélia, he identified her with the Virgin Mary who promised him to safeguard and to find salvation. He considered his dreams as a bridge between the daily life and the supernatural events. In his works, he gives place his dreams and experiences which were resulted in the schizophrenia. In Aurélia, Nerval expressed his familial,sexual and death obsessions. There are two Nerval: one is reasonable and quit, other is nightmarish and schizophrenic. The reasonable and quit Nerval observes and comments the other’s dreams and nightmars. Aurélia is a great confession of Nerval , so to speak, his litterary testament. Any chronological action isn’t exhibited. The litterary schools such as clasicism, romatism and the philosophic eighteenth century are criticized. By this aspect he has effects on the modern novel. He exerced the influence on the great novelist Marcel Proust. | en_US |
