Özet
Remzi Özçelik, tiyatro yazarlığı alanında önemli bir isimdir. Eserlerinin konusunu Türk tarihi ile siyasî ve sosyal olaylardan alır. Eserlerinde gelenekçi görünmeye çalışan yazar, yeniliği geleneğin içinde arar. Öğretmen kimliği, oyunlarının konusu ve dili üzerinde belirleyici unsurlardan biridir. Türk tarihinin önemli isimlerini sahneye aktararak, onların düşüncelerini yeni kuşaklara taşıması, onun tiyatrolarının bir başka özelliğidir. Birçoğu sahnelenmiş oyunlarıyla tiyatro edebiyatımıza önemli hizmetlerde bulunmuştur.
