Kars Yöresi Koç ve Koyunlarında Gongylonema Pulchrum'un Yayılışı

Bu araştırma Kars yöresi koyunlarında Gongylonema pulchrum'un yayılışının belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Farklı yaş gruplarına ait 118 erkek ve 82 dişi olmak üzere toplam 200 baş koyun ozefagusu teker teker naylon poşetlere alınmış ve laboratuvara getirilerek G. pulchrum yönünden incelenmiştir. İncelenen 200 ozefagus örneğinin 80'inin (% 40) G. pulchrum ile enfekte olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Enfekte hayvanlardan 164'u (%58.15) erkek ve 118i (%41.85) dişi olmak üzere toplam 282 adet G. pulchrum elde edilmiştir. Enfekte bir özefagusdan en az 1, en fazla 12 parazit izole edilmiştir. Enfeksiyonun yaş gruplarına ve cinsiyete göre sayısal dağılımının grup içi ve genel istatistiksel değerlendirilmesi SPSS for Windows release bilgisayar programında Khi-kare testi ile yapılmış, bu gruplar arasındaki farklılıkların önemli olmadığı gözlenmiştir (P>0.05).

This study was carried out in order to detect the prevalence of Gongylonema pulchrum in sheep in the Kars region. For this purpose, a total of 200 sheep were examined macroscopically. The diagnosis was based on the characteristic and morphologic features of G. pulchrum. G. pulchrum were found in the esophageal muscle in 80 (40%) out of 200 sheep. The number of parasites from each esophagi varied from 1 to 12 and a total of 282 G. pulchrum were collected of which 164 were male (58.15% ) and 118, female (41.85%). Statistical assessment of the numerical distribution of the infection according to age groups and sexes within group and between groups was performed by the chi-square test using the SPSS program for Windows. No statistically significant difference was observed between these groups (P>0.05).
