dc.description.abstractHepatocellular carcinoma, detected in a 4-years-old sheep, was described in the present study. Grosslygrayish-white coloured, 1.7x1.5x1cm in dimensions and well circumscribed, a solitary tumor mass were seen in the aphragmatic aspect of the right lobe of liver. Microscopically, the neoplastic cells were arranged in solid pattern. mour was diagnosed as solid, poorly differentiated hepatocellular carcinoma. Immunohistochemically, some markers, such as carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), alpha-fetoprotein (AFP), of the intermediate filament proteinscytokeratin, and superficial antigens of hepatitis B virus was investigated, and alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) was founded be positive.en_US
dc.description.abstractBu raporda, 4 yaşındaki bir koyunda belirlenen HSK' olgusu tanımlandı. Makroskobik olarak, karaciğerin sağ lobunda grimtırak beyaz renkte, 1,7x1,5x1cm boyutlarında ve sınırlı soliter tumoral bir kitle görüldü. Mikroskobik olarak, tümör hücreleri genellikle solid yapılar, kimi bölgelerde de hepatik kordonlar oluşturmuştu. Tümör, az diferensiye solid HSK olarak teşhis edildi. Immunohistokimyasal olarak, tümör markerlerinden alpha-fetoprotein (AFP), karsinoembriyonik antijen (CEA), sitokeratin ve hepatit B virusu yüzey antigeni (HbsAg) araştırıldı. Bunlardan AFP tümör hücrelerinde, CEA ve sitokeratin ise sadece safra kapillarında pozitif bulundu.en_US
