Özet
Elli üç yaşında kadın hasta, her iki gözde iki aydır devam eden, kirpik diplerinde kaşıntı şikâyetiyle polikliniğimize başvurdu. Oftal- molojik muayenede her iki kirpik diplerinin hiperemisiyle beraber, kirpiklere yapışık, hareketli, sarı-kahverengi renkte, çok sayıda bit ve yumurtaları tespit edildi. Kirpiklerden alınan örneklerde pitriyazis palpebrarum saptandı. Pitriyazis ve cinsel yolla bulaşan diğer hastalıklar açısından dermatoloji konsültasyonu istendi. Tedavi olarak bir petrolatum bileşiğinin (saf vazelin) günde üç kez kirpik diplerine uygulanması önerildi. Kirpik diplerindeki bit ve yumurtalar 2 hafta sonra tamamen ortadan kayboldu. Olgumuzda da ol- duğu gibi kötü hijyenik şartlarda yaşayan kişilerde, klasik tedaviye yanıt vermeyen blefaritle karşılaşıldığında, ayrıcı tanıda pitriyazis palpebrarum da düşünülmelidir
A fifty three years old female patient was admitted to our ophthalmology department with the complaint of itching in both eye lids for 2 months. On the biomicroscopic examination, hyperemia on the lid margin, and several yellow-brown nits and live lices attached to the lashes were detected in both lashes. Microscopic examination of the samples taken from the lashes revealed the palpebrarum pityriasis. A consultation from the department of dermatology was requested for scanning pityriasis and other venereal diseases. Pure vaseline, which is a compound of the petrolatum was recommended on the margin of eyelashes three times a day. Two weeks later, all of the lices and nits were disappeared. As in our case, in cases with poor hygiene and with blepharitis which does not respond to the conventional treatment, phtriazis palbeprarum should be kept in mind
