dc.description.abstractAMAÇ: Kandaki lipoprotein (a) seviyeleri ile hafif ve şiddetli preeklampsi arasındaki ilişki araştırıldı. GEREÇ VE YÖNTEM: 01:10.1998 ile 30.01.1999 tarihleri arasında 30 preeklamptik 30 kontrol grubu hastada prospektif olarak lipoprotein (a) seviyeler} araştırıldı. 30 preeklamptik gebenin 15'i ağır 15'i hafif preeklampsi olarak gruplandırıldı. BULGULAR: Plazma lipoprotein (a) normal gebelerde 10050 mg/L, hafif preeklampside 33060 mg/L, ağır preeklampside 650240 mg/L olarak tespit edildi. Lipoprotein (a) yönünden kontrol grubu ile preeklamptik grup arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark görüldü (p0.05). yine lipoprotein (a) seviyesi bakımından hafif preeklampsi ile ağır preeklampsi arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark tespit edildi (z-4,295, p0.05). normal gebelerin hiç birinde lipoprotein (a) seviyesi 300 mg/L üzerinde saptanmadı. SONUÇLAR: Yapılan bu çalışmada lipoprotein (a) 'nın preeklamptik gebelerde yükseldiği ve preeklampsinin ağırlığı ile lipoprotein (a) arasında bir ilişki olduğu saptandı.en_US
dc.description.abstractOBJECTIVES: Our purpose is to evaluate the relation between the plasma levels of lipoprotein (a) and mild to severe preeclampsia. MATERIAL AND METHOD: Lipoprotein (a) level was measured in 30 women with preeclampsia and in 30 normal pregnant women who were studied as control group. From 30 preeclamptic women, 15 of them were classified as mild and the other 15 as severe preeclampsia. RESULTS: Plasma lipoprotein (a) levels were found to be 10050 mg/L in normal pregnant women, 33060 mg/L in the group of mild preeclampsia and 650240 mg/L in women with severe preeclampsia. There was statistically important difference between the group with precclampsia and the control group in terms of lipoprotein (a) levels (p<0.05). also statistically important. difference was found between groups with mild and severe preeclampsia (z-4,295, p<0.05): None of lipoprotein (a) level was found to be higher than 300 mg/L in normal pregnant women. CONCLUSION: In this study, lipoprotein (a) levels was found to be higher in women with preeclampsia and there was a correlation between lipoprotein (a) levels and severity of preeclampsia.en_US
