This research, which has been done to determine the effect of some mother behaviours on the self-management of children (to help children reach the targets, pressure behaviours for protection and success), has been carried out with 402 primary school students and their mothers in Maresal Mustafa Kemal Primary School, in Konya, TURKEY**. To determine the self-management behaviours of students "Self Management Test", which is a sub-branch of "Psychological Social Development Scale (with the latest revision) and to determine the mother behaviours "Self Evaluation Behaviour Scale of Parents" were used as means of data collection. At the end of the research, it has been determined that there were significant differences between the average scores of the students' "Self Management" according to mothers' behaviours.
