| dc.description.abstract | Sosyolojinin bir alt dalı olan Sağlık Sosyolojisi insan-toplum ilişkisinden yola çıkarak hastalık ve sağlık kavramlarını tanımlamış ve sağlık ile hastalığın nedenlerini toplumsal bağlamda ele alarak açıklamaya çalışmıştır. DSÖ’nün tanımına göre sağlık yalnızca hastalığın ve sakatlığın olmayışı değil fiziksel, ruhsal ve sosyal yönden tam bir iyilik halini ifade etmektedir. Bu tanımdan yola çıkarak kişinin sağlığı üzerinde toplumsal kültürün doğrudan etkisinin olacağını söylemek mümkündür. Bir hastalığın hastalık olarak kabulü, tedavi usulleri toplumdan topluma büyük değişiklikler göstermektedir. İnsanın toplumsal bir ortam içerisinde hayatını sürdürmesi ve bu toplumun oluşturduğu kültürel yapıya belli bir aidiyetinin olması sağlık ve hastalık kavramlarını algılayışı üzerinde büyük etkiye sahiptir. Tıbbi sosyoloji denilen kavram ise bu insan-kültür-hastalık algısı etkileşiminden doğmuştur. Tıbbi sosyoloji hastalık üzerinde mikroorganizmalar kadar toplumun da etkisinin olduğunu ileri sürmektedir. Bu çalışma sağlık-hastalık-toplum ilişkisi, sağlık ve hastalık algısına toplumun etkisi konularıyla alakalı literatürde yer alan çalışmaların incelenmesi, çalışmalardan elde edilen bulguların sistematik biçimde incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Derleme yöntemi kullanılarak hazırlanan bu çalışmada Sağlık Sosyolojisi alanında yapılan çalışmalar taranarak bulgular sentezlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Taranan çalışmalardan elde edilen bulgular ise sağlık ve hastalık algısı üzerinde toplumsal kültürün bir etkisinin olduğunu ve sağlık, hastalık durumu üzerinde toplumsal değer ve tutumların etkisinin olduğunu göstermiştir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Health Sociology, a sub-branch of Sociology, setting out from human–society relationship, defined the concepts of illness and health and tried to explain the reasons for health and illness, dealing with them in sociological context. According to the definition of WHO, health expresses a full of state of being well from spiritual and social point of view not only lack of illness and disability. Moving from this point of view, it is possible to say that there will be direct effect of social culture on the health of person. Accepting an illness as a disease and treatment methods show major changes from society to society. That human being sustains his/her life in a social environment and he/she has a certain belonging to cultural structure this society formed has a large effect on the way the concepts of health and illness. The concept, termed medical sociology, engendered from interaction of this perception of human-culture-illness. Medical sociology also puts forward that there is effect of society as much as microorganism on disease. This study was conducted to examine the studies taking place in the literature related to the subjects of health-illness- society relationship and of effect of society on the perception of health and illness, and systematically examine the findings obtained from the studies. In this study prepared by using compilation method, the studies conducted in the area of health sociology were reviewed, and the findings were attempted to be synthesized. The findings obtained from the reviewed studies showed that there is an effect of social culture on the perception of health and illness and that there is the effect of social values and attitudes on the state of health and illness. | en_US |
