Hekimlerin sadece % 19,7'si tıp fakültesinde aldığı adli tıp eğitimini yeterli olarak nitelemekte, % 91,5'i hizmet içi adli tıp eğitimine gereksinim duyduğunu belirtmektedir. Hekimlerin büyük oranda sübjektif kriterleri kullanma eğilimi içinde oldukları, adli olgularda tedirginlik yaşadıkları, kendilerini yetersiz hissettikleri ve eğitime gereksinim duydukları, adli raporlarla uğraşmak istemedikleri, adli rapor verirken sübjektif kriterlere dayanma eğiliminde oldukları, verdikleri raporların adalete ve kendilerine yansımalarını bilmedikleri anlaşılmaktadır.

The rate of the physicians who are aware of the effects of their reports on trial does not surpass 29,6%. Only 19,7% of the physicians claim that forensic medicine taught in medical school is enough, whereas 91,5% alledge that this is not the case. It is concluded that the physicians tend to use subjective criteria mostly, that they experience hesitation in forensic cases, that they feel deficient in knowledge and in need of further training, that they don't desire to indulge in forensic reports, that they tend to rely on subjective criteria while presenting forensic reports and that they are unaware of the reflections of their reports to the justice and to them.
