A complete left cranial vena cava (LCVC) was found in a 45 day old Holstein calf during routine dissection. This calf has double cranial vena cava. The LCVC passes over the dorsal aspect of the left atrium to reach the coronary sulcus and opened into the right atrium below the opening of the caudal vena cava. This case is compared with similar cases in the literature.en_US
