Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı Osmanlı devletinde Güreş tekkelerinin vePehlivanların durumları ve yansımalarının araştırılmasıdır. Çalışma içinliteratür taraması ve belgeler araştırılmıştır.Osmanlı devletinde güreş en popüler sporlardan biri idi. Sultanlargüreşe çok önem verdiler. Osmanlı döneminde güreş kurumsallaştırıldı.Güreş tekkeleri bölgelerin büyüklüğüne göre oluşturulmuştur. Güreştekkesi zindanları, hem Osmanlı İmparatorluğu'nda bilimsel sosyalekonomik ve politik hayata etki etmişlerdir. Güreş tekkeleri güçlübireyleri yetiştirme, sosyal ve kültürel işbirliği uyumunun iyileştirilmesive insanların eğlenmesi gibi birçok işlevi yerine getirmiştir. Güreştekkeleri günümüzün kulübünün anlayışıyla daha donanımlıdır.Osmanlı döneminde güreş her zaman hem sarayda hem de saraydışındakiler arasında önemliydi. Osmanlı devletinde kurulan güreştekkeleri ve buralarda yetişen bazı pehlivanların saraylarda istihdamedildiği bilinmektedir. Güreş tekkeleri ile okullarda pehlivanlaryetiştirildi. Bunlara saraylarda kadro verildi. Bu pehlivanlar arasında“kapıcı başı” olarak sarayda çalışanlar vardı. Bunlar arasında “başvezir/vezir-i azam” lığa ve “Kaptan-ı Deryalığa” kadar yükseltmiş olanlarbulunmaktadır.Sonuç: Osmanlı döneminde pehlivanların Osmanlı saraylarındabirçok sosyal ve askeri fonksiyonları yerine getirdikleri söylenebilir.Pehlivanlar sosyal ve siyasi hayata renklilik, dinamizm ve güvensağlamış, yurt dışında ülkenin ve Türk insanının tanıtımını yapmış,askeri sahada güç katmıştır. Ayrıca milli ve dini kültürün taşıyıcılığını da yapmışlardır. Güreş Tekkeleri Osmanlı İmparatorluğu'nda sporunkurumsallaşmasınınsosyaltemellerinioluşturdu.Günümüzkulüplerinin gelişimi için Osmanlı güreşi tekkleri tüm yönleriyleincelenmelidir.
The aim of this study is to investigate the status and reflections ofwrestling dervish lodges (Tekke) and wrestlers in the Ottoman state.Literature search and documents were searched for the study.Wrestling in the Ottoman state was one of the most popular sports.The sultans gave much importance to wrestling. Wrestling wasinstitutionalized during the Ottoman period. Wrestling dervish lodgeswere established according to the size of the regions. Wrestling dervishlodges had impact on scientific social economic and political life both inOttoman Empire. Wrestling dervish lodges carried out numerousfunctions as a tool of bringing up strong individuals, improvement ofsocial and cultural collaboration integration and entertainment of people.Wrestling dervish lodges are better equipped with the understanding oftoday's club. In the Ottoman era, wrestling were always in important bothin the palace and among locals living in the place out. Wrestling dervishlodges established in the Ottoman state and some wrestlers who grew upin these places are known to be employed in palaces. Wrestling uncle andwrestlers were trained in schools. These were assigned in the palaces.Among these wrestlers, there was those who to work in the palace as the“head of the doorman". Among these, there was those who have raised tothe "chief vizier / great vizier” and to be “Captain”.Conclusion: It can be said that the wrestlers to the palace in theOttoman circle fulfilled many social and military functions in theOttoman palaces. The wrestlers have brought color, dynamism andconfidence to social and political life, promoted the country and theTurkish people abroad and added strength to the military field. They alsocarried the national and religious culture. Wrestling dervish Iodgesformed the social foundations of the institutionalization of sports in theOttoman Empire. For the development of modern day clubs, ottomanwrestling lodges should be examined with all aspects.
