Rotator manflet y›rt›klar›n›n s›n›flamas› tan›, tedavi ve
prognozun ve tedavi sonuçlar›n›n bilimsel de¤erlendirme -
sine yard›mc› olur. Y›rt›¤›n flekli, yeri, etiyolojisi, büyüklü¤ü, topografisi, patolojisi ve öyküsü, tendonlar›n y›rt›k
oluflumana katk›s› ile birlikte uzman yorumcular için çok
da¤erli bilgi sa¤layabilir. Bu makalede, rotator manflet
y›rt›klar›n›n bu yönünün, flekillendirme ile birlikte okura
sunulmas› amaçland›.
Classification of rotator cuff tears may yield useful infor - mation on diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, and evaluation of treatment results. The shape, localization, etiology, size, t o p o g r a p h y, pathology, and history of rotator cuff tears, together with the involvement of specific tendons in the o c c u r rence of a tear may be of great value in the hand of expert interpreters. This article intends to give a brief description of rotator cuff tears by way of illustration.
