dc.description.abstractBu araştırmada yemlere 20 ppm oranında Cr ilavesinin broylerlerde plazma HDL ve total kolesterol düzeylerine etkileri incelendi. Araştırmada 200 adet Avian x Peterson günlük ticari hibrid civciv kullanıldı. Bu hayvanlar rasyon protein düzeyi (düşük ve yüksek) ve Cr içeren ve içermeyen (kontrol) rasyonla beslenme kriterlerine göre oluşturulan, her biri 50 civciv içeren 4 grup halinde 51 günlük denemeye alındılar. Deneme sonunda her gruptan 12 şer hayvandan kalbe girilerek kan alındı ve elde edilen plazmalarda HDL ve total kolesterol ölçümleri spektrofotometrik yöntemle gerçekleştirildi. Sonuç olarak yeme 20 ppm düzeyinde ilave edilen Cr yüksek proteinle beslenen grupta kontrol grubuna oranla HDL kolesterol yönünden önemli (P 0.001) düzeyde bir yükselme oluştururken; total kolesterolde aynı önem düzeyinde düşme meydana getirdi. Düşük proteinle beslenen grupta ise Cr uygulaması kontrole göre her iki parametre yönünden de farklılık oluşturmadı (P0.05)en_US
dc.description.abstractIn this study, effects of 20 ppm chromium supplementation to broiler diets on plasma HDL and total cholesterol levels were investigated. A total of 200 Paterson X Avian daily age commercial broiler chicks were used. This animals were divided into 4 groups according to ration protein level (low and high) and criterion fed with (20 ppm) and without Cr (control); including 50 chicks in each and trial maintained 51 days. At the end of experiment blood samples were drawn by cardiac puncture and determination of HDL and total cholesterol was made in plasma by spectrophotometric method In conclusion, supplementation of 20 ppm chromium to high protein diet caused significant effects between groups for HDL and total cholesterol (PO.001), while Cr supplementation to low protein group did not caused any significant effect between groups (P>0.05).en_US
