Özet
Cümleler tek başına ele alındığında olayların hangi zaman aralığında meydana geldiği kesin olarak anlaşılamaz. Cümleler söylemden soyut olarak ele alındığında çekimlenmiş oldukları fiil zamanlarından hareketle zaman çizgisinde yerleştirilir. Fakat bu cümlelerde ifade edilen olayların zaman çizgisinde kesin olarak nerede bulunduğu, olayların başlangıç ve bitiş noktaları tam olarak bilinemez. Ancak cümleler dizisi bir bütün olarak ele alındığında, gönderim noktaları ve zaman aralıkları bir kesinlik kazanabilir. Söylem sunumu yapısı (SSY) teorisi, bir söylemde ifade edilen çeşitli olaylar arasındaki, bu tarz geçici ilişkileri ortaya koymaktadır. Söylem sunumu yapısında, söylemi oluşturan fiillerin çekimlenmiş olduğu zamanlar ve bu fiillerin dahil olduğu Aristo sınıflandırılmaları da olayların zamanda yerleştirilmesinde önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. Bu çalışmada SSY teorisi temel alınarak Türkmen Türkçesinde söylem ve zaman ilişkisi incelenmiştir.
When we isolate the sentence from the discourse, only the tenses of the verbs could help us to locate the situation in time and it becomes impossible to understand the beginning point, endpoint or the time inverval of the event certainly. The reference points or time intervals could be determine exactly by analizing the sequence of sentences in the discourse. Discourse Representation Structure is a model of the temporal relationships holding between the various events mentioned in a discourse. In DRS the tenses of the verbs and Aristotelian classes are also important to locate the event in time. In this study, the relationship of the discourse and time has been investigated based on DRS theory.
