Özet
Üç İstanbul romanı, Abdülhamit, Meşrutiyet, Mütareke dönemleri İstanbul’unda geçen konusuyla yakın dönemimize ait önemli bir bakıştır. Mithat Cemal, Üç İstanbul’da yakından tanıdığını söylediği konakları ve sessiz evleri değişen siyasi şartlar içerisinde, yaşayan karakterleriyle üç ayrı dönemde ele alır. Yazarın bakış açısında anılan dönemlerin ve kişilerin ironi ve eleştiriyle anlatıldığını görmekteyiz. Ayrıca Üç İstanbul söylemi ve özellikle kalabalık şahıs kadrosuyla önemi yeterince vurgulanmamış bir eserdir.
The novel of three Istanbul wihch has taken place in Istanbul during the era of Abdülhamit, Constitutional Monarchy and Armistice is an important view of recent history with his theme. Mithat Cemal has pointed out the mansions that he said he knew considerably and silent houses with living ones in the changing politic circumtances in three various periods. We observe that the periods and people mentioned in the author’s point of view explained with irony and critisism. Three Istanbul with its interpretation and especially crowded person staff is a kind of work whose importance hasn’t been completely underlined.
