| dc.description.abstract | This study was carried out to investigate the correlation between the fatty liver syndrome and some blood values in broilers fed with rations containing corn, sunflower oil and animal fat. Totally 150 day-old Arbro - 7 female chicks were used in the experiment. There were three groups each containing 50 chicks. The experiment lasted in 56 days. At the end of the experiment, a severe case of fatty livers was observed in the group fed with corn based ration. The highest SGOT (P<0.05) and FFA values were found in this group. In the other two groups fed differently with ration containing sunflower oil and the animal fat, the lesser amount of lipid infiltrations were observed. The total serum cholesterol levels in the group fed with animal fat were higher than the other groups (P<0.01). As a result, it can be deduced that the determination of SGOT values as well as the histological investigation would be helpfull in the diagnosis of subclinical fatty liver syndrome. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışma mısır, ayçiçek yağı ve hayvansal yağ kapsayan rasyonlarla beslenen broylerlerde karaciğer yağlanması ile bazı kan değerleri arasındaki ilişkinin tesbit edilmesi amacı ile yapılmıştır. Araştırmada 150 adet Arbro - 7 adlı dişi günlük broyler civcivi kullanılmıştır. Herbiri 50 adet civcivden oluşan 3 grup düzenlenmiş ve deneme 56 gün sürdürülmüştür. Mısıra dayalı rasyonla beslenen grupta şiddetli derecede karaciğer yağlanması meydana gelmiş, bu grupta SGOT (P<0.05) ve FFA değerleri de diğer gruplardan yüksek bulunmuştur. Ayçiçek yağı ve hayvansal yağ kapsayan rasyonlarla beslenen gruplarda, mikroskobik olarak, karaciğerde dikkate değer bir yağlanma gözlenememiştir. Hayvansal yağ verilen grupta total serum kolesterolü en yüksek olarak tesbit edilmiştir (P<0.01). Sonuç olarak, tavuklarda subklinik olarak seyreden karaciğer yağlanmasının teşhisinde histolojik incelemeler ile birlikte SGOT değerinin tesbit edilmesinin yardımcı olabileceği kanısına varılmıştır. | en_US |
