Özet
Ülkeler arası sermaye hareketliliğinin büyük bölümünü oluşturan doğrudan yabancı yatırımların son yıllarda ulaştığı boyutlar tarihin en yüksek seviyelerindedir. Türkiye’ye gelen doğrudan yabancı yatırımların 2005 yılı ve sonrasında önemli derecede arttığı gözlemlenmektedir. Çalışmada regresyon analizi ve nedensellik çalışması ile doğrudan yabancı yatırımların ekonomik büyümeye olan katkısının ölçülmesi amaçlanmıştır. Kurulan regresyon modeli sonuçlarına göre Türkiye’ye gelen doğrudan yabancı yatırımların ekonomik büyüme üzerinde pozitif etkisi olmasına rağmen, ilgili değişkenin katsayısı istatistiksel olarak anlamsızdır.
Foreign direct investments which composing important part of transnational investments has reached to peak of the history in recent years. Foreign direct investment inflows to Turkey have been raising from 2005 and later. In this paper we aimed to measure the contribution of the foreign direct investments on economic growth by using the regression analysis and granger causality analysis. According to results of regression, however foreign direct investments which come to Turkey has positive effect on economic growth, its coefficient is not statistical meaningful.
