Özet
Bu çalışma mandalarda larynx'in venöz drenajına katılan venaların orijin , seyir ve katılım yerlerini belirlemek amacıyla yapıldı. Bu amaçla mezbahadan temin edilen her iki cinsiyete ait 8 adet manda başı kullanıldı. Mandalarda larynx'in venöz drenajının, organı rostral ve caudal'den terk eden iki grup vena tarafından yapıldığı belirlendi. Bu damarlardan v. laryngea cranialis ile w. pharyngeae ve arcus hyoideus'a katılan venalar rostral grubu oluştururken caudal grubu v. cricothyroidea ve ramus lary-ngeus caudalis'in oluşturduğu görüldü.
This study was carried out to reveal the origin, course and terminations of the laryngeal veins in water buffaloes. For this purpose, a total of eight buffalo heads of both sexes, obtained from slaughterhouse, were used. We found that the venous drainage of larynx was accomplished by two group veins which left the caudal and rostral surface of the larynx. The rostral group was formed by the cranial laryngeal vein and the other veins contributing to the pharyngeal veins and hyoidal arch. The caudal group was constituted by the cricothroideal vein and caudal laryngeal ramus.
