Özet
Bu çalışmada, Türkiye için ihracat - ithalat ve turizm gelirlerinin birlikte ekonomik büyüme üzerindeki etkisi, 2014-2018 dönemine ait ihracat ve ithalat verileri, turizm gelirleri ve gayri safi yurtiçi hâsıla verileri kullanılarak turizm gelirlerinin Türkiye’nin ekonomik büyümesine etkisi incelenmiştir. Turizm sektöründen elde edilen gelirin zaman içerisinde artış sürecine girmesi Türkiye ekonomisi açısından önemlidir. Turizm sektörü, ülkelerin ekonomik kriz dönemlerinde döviz girdisi sağlayarak dış ticaret açıkların azaltılmasında, ödemeler dengesinin iyileştirilmesinde önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. Daha önceki yapılan çalışmalara da bakıldığı zaman turizm gelirlerinin ekonomik büyüme üzerinde pozitif yönlü etkisi olduğu söylenebilir.
In this study, the impact of Export - Import and tourism revenues on economic growth together with turkey, export and import data for the period 2014 - 2018, tourism revenues and tourism revenues on Turkey's economic growth using gross domestic product data were analyzed. It is important for the Turkish economy that the income from the tourism sector is increased over time. The tourism sector plays an important role in reducing foreign trade deficits and improving the balance of payments by providing foreign currency input during the economic crisis periods of the countries. Tourism revenues have a positive impact on economic growth when viewed from previous studies.
