Özet
Composition of water-distilled essential oils of Salvia aucheri var. canescens and S.tomentosa growing wild in Turkey were analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Forty-four and sixty components were identified in the both oil constituting 96.3% and 97.4% of the total components detected, respectively. 1,8-Cineole (38.9-21.2%), camphor (18.3-24.5%), camphene (7.9-4.3%)and beta-pinene (4.3-3.3%) were found to be the major components in both the oils.
