dc.description.abstractKüreselleşen dünyada teknolojik gelişmelerle birlikte tüketim davranışları da değişirken ürünlerin üreticiden tüketiciye ulaşması ve atık haline dönüşmesi de hız kazanmıştır. Atık halini alan ürünlerin artışı çevrenin kirlenmesine neden olurken tabiattaki mücerret kaynakları da azaltmaktadır. Ekolojik dengenin bozulmasıyla birlikte toprağa gömme ve yakma kapasitelerinin tükenmesi, geri dönüşümün önemini artırmıştır. Ayrıca son yıllarda gerek çevresel duyarlılık gerekse yasal zorunluluklar gereği doğal kaynakların korunmasına verilen önemin artması da tersine lojistik faaliyetlerinin önem kazanmasında etkili olmuştur. Artan bu önem “tersine” ürün akışının etkin ve verimli şekilde yönetilmesini gerekli kılmıştır. Bu bağlamda iade edilen, kullanım süresi dolmuş olan ürünlerin kullanıcılardan toplanması, sınıflandırılması, mümkün olanlara bakım yapılması değilse minimum tahribatla yok edilmesi aynı zamanda ayrıştırma sonucunda oluşan ürünlerin varış yerine nasıl ve ne yolla ulaştırılacağını sistematik şekilde ele alan “tersine lojistik” kavramının gittikçe büyüyen bir çalışma alanı olması sonucunu doğurmuştur.en_US
