Özet
Konaklama, turizmin en temel bileşenlerindendir. Konaklama işletmeleri çeşitli biçimlerde doğal çevreyle sürekli etkileşim içindedirler. Bu nedenle konaklama sektörü de çoğu sektörde olduğu gibi iyi yönetilmediğinde bu etkileşim sonucunda doğal çevreye zarar vermektedirler. Günümüzde sürdürülebilir bir gelecek için çevre dostu yönetimin yeri oldukça büyüktür. Bu bağlamda çevre muhasebesi konaklama işletmelerinde uygulandığı takdirde çevre üzerinde olumsuz etkilerin en aza indirilmesi sağlanacaktır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, sürdürülebilir turizm çerçevesinde konaklama sektöründe kıt olan kaynakların verimli bir şekilde kullanılması, çevre yönetim standardı kriterlerine uygun olarak alınabilecek önlemleri belirlemek. Konaklama işletmelerinin çevreye verdiği zararları ortaya koymak, çevreye verilen zararları en aza indiren konaklama işletmelerine kar sağlayacak uygulamalara değinerek önerilerde bulunmaktır. Çevre dostu yönetim ve Çevre muhasebesi sayesinde işletmeler çevreye verdikleri zararları kontrol altına alarak hem işletmeye kazanç sağlamaktadırlar hem de çevreye olumsuz etkilerini minimum seviyeye indirmektedirler. Çevresel etkilerin yönetilmesi, çevre yönetim standardı kriterlerine uygun olarak yapılması işletmelerin kalitesini artırır ve daha iyi performans gerçekleştirmelerini sağlamaktadır. Ayrıca sürdürülebilir gelecek için işletmelerin çevrenin korunması ve çevre kirliliğinin önlenmesi hususunda önemli çalışmalar yapması gerekmektedir. Çalışmaların başarısı doğru bilgi ve verilerle mümkün olmaktadır. İşletmeler açısından bu süreçte çevre muhasebesi önemli bilgiler ve veriler sunar.
Accommodation/ Hospitality is one of the most essential components of tourism. Accommodation/ Hospitality businesses are in constant interaction with the natural environment in a variety of ways. For this reason, as in all most sectors the Accommodation/ Hospitality sector is not managed properly and because of this interaction they are damaging the natural environment. Today, the place of Eco-friendly management is quite important for a sustainable future. In this context, if environmental accounting is applied in accommodation establishments, the negative effects on the environment will be minimized. The aim of this study is to utilize the scarce resources in the accommodation sector efficiently within the framework of sustainable tourism and to determine the measures that can be taken according to the criteria of environmental management standard. In addition, it is aimed to examine the effects of green tourism practices on the environmental accounting in the tourism sector. Morever; Explaining the damage caused by accommodation enterprises to the environment and to advise on the applications that will provide profit to the accommodation companies that minimize the damages to the environment.Thanks to the environment-friendly management and environmental accounting, enterprises control the damages they cause to the environment and they both benefit the enterprise and minimize the negative effects on the environment. Management of environmental impacts in accordance with the criteria of environmental management standard increases the quality of the enterprises and enables them to perform better. In addition, enterprises need to carry out important studies on environmental protection and prevention of environmental pollution for sustainable future. The success of studies is made possible by the right information and data. In terms of businesses, environmental accounting offers important information and data.
