Özet
A very comprehensive and comparative review of many classical and contemporary models and theories of learning styles is available in. The purpose of this study is to determine learning styles of physics pre service teachers and to investigate relation of their learning styles with their gender, their level of grade, place of staying and their success. For determining learning styles of physics pre service teachers, Grasha and Riechmann's "Learning Style Inventory" was used. This study was carried out with 136 physics pre service teachers from the Physics Department of Ahmet Kelesoglu Education Faculty at Selcuk University in the first term of 2009-2010 Academic Year in Turkey. The chi 2 (Chi-square), frequency, mean and percentage were used for testing the data obtained from the study. It was found that the value of competitive and participant learning styles of female pre service teachers were higher than male preservice teachers.
