Özet
The aim of this study was to find out the effect of the intervention by late coming students to the class on the success of learning performance of students already listening to the lecture. The entrance door is always in front of the classroom close to the writing board and teacher's desk in physical education and other departments in the universities and all schools in Turkey like in other countries in the world. Two groups of students were lectured in a 10-minute period with allowance of students to get in and with no permission to enter the classroom. A written examination was given to these groups immediately after the lecture was over. The results were found statistically significant (p<0.001) between the two groups of students. As a result, it was seen that late coming students interfere with learning performance of students already in the classroom. Despite this, late coming students are allowed to get in the classroom to listen to the lecture. In order to prevent learning losses resulting from late coming students, new approaches have to be developed.
