Özet
Dünya genelinde turizm denilince akla ilk gelen deniz, kum, güneş üçlüsüne boyut kazandırarak dört mevsime
yayılmasını sağlayan alternatif turizmin en önemli alt segmenti olan kış turizminin temel yapıtaşı kardır. Kış turizmi
isminden de anlaşılacağı üzere kış aylarında reaksiyon gösteren bir turizm hareketidir. Kış turizminde gerçekleştirilebilecek
faaliyetler arasında en çok talep göreni kayak sporudur. Kış turizmini etkileyen etken bulunmaktadır. Bunların başında karın
yerde kalış süresi gelmektedir. Çalışmanın amacı; kış turizminin bölgeye sağladığı yararları göstererek hak ettiği değeri ve
ilgiyi görmesini sağlayabilmektir. Çalışmada, ülkemizin uluslararası boyut kazanmış kayak merkezi Palandöken ve
gelişmekte olan kayak merkezi Davraz’ın kıyaslaması yapılmıştır. Her iki kayak merkezi ile ilgili nüfus verileri, temel iş gücü
göstergeleri ve mekanik tesis bilgileri ayrıntılı olarak verilmiş ve SWOT analizleri yapılmıştır. Böylelikle Palandöken kayak
merkezi ile Davraz kayak merkezi arasındaki farklar bulunmuş, eksikler tespit edilmiş ve neler yapılabileceği ile ilgili fikir
sunulmuştur. Ayrıca kayak merkezlerinin bağlı oldukları illere sağladıkları ekonomik ve sosyal faydalara da yer verilmiştir.
The basic building block of winter tourism, which is the most important sub-segment of alternative tourism, which adds dimension to the trio of sea, sand and sun, which comes to mind when tourism is mentioned throughout the world, is snow. As the name suggests, winter tourism is a tourism movement that reacts during the winter months. Among the activities that can be carried out in winter tourism, the most demanded one is skiing. There are many factors affecting winter tourism. The first of these is the period of stay of the snow on the ground. Purpose of the study; is to show the benefits of winter tourism to the region and to ensure that it receives the value and attention it deserves. In the study, a comparison of our country's ski center Palandöken, which has gained an international dimension, and Davraz, a developing ski center, has been made. Population data, basic labor force indicators and mechanical facility information about both ski centers were given in detail and SWOT analyzes were made. Thus, the differences between Palandöken ski center and Davraz ski center were found, deficiencies were determined and an idea about what could be done was presented. In addition, the economic and social benefits provided by the ski resorts to the provinces they are affiliated with are also included
