dc.description.abstractWith regard to pacemakers, lead endocarditis is a rare condition noted for causing difficulties in patient management. It has been reported in the literature that lead endocarditis may occur even after 10 years. In general, the incidence of pacemaker infections has not been carefully documented.1,2 The prevalence and incidence of pacemaker lead dysfunctions due to lead endocarditis have not been researched previously. We present a case of pacemaker dysfunction related to infective endocarditis.en_US
