| dc.description.abstract | Amaç: Çalışmamızın amacı, hemşirelik bölümü öğrencilerinin toplumsal cinsiyet rolleri ile kadına yönelik şiddete ilişkin tutumlarını incelemektir. Gereç ve Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı türde olan çalışma, hemşirelik bölümünde toplam 618 öğrenci ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veriler Şubat-Mayıs 2018 tarihleri arasında veri toplama formu, Kadına Yönelik Şiddete İlişkin Tutum Ölçeği (ŞİTÖ) ve Toplumsal Cinsiyet Rolleri Tutum Ölçeği (TCRTÖ) ile toplanmıştır. Bulgular: Öğrencilerin yaş ortancası 20 (min-max= 17-36), TCRTÖ puan ortancası 150 (min-max= 61-190), ŞİTÖ puan ortancası 33.5 (minmax= 19-93)’dir. Öğrencilerin %51.8’i hayatlarında en az bir defa kadına yönelik şiddete tanık olmuş, %21.4’ü ise şiddete maruz kalmıştır. Öğrencilerin %6.5’i ders içeriği olarak kadına yönelik şiddet hakkında eğitim aldığını belirtirken, %80.3’ü ders müfredatlarına kadına yönelik şiddet dersinin eklenmesini istemektedir. Cinsiyet, yaşanılan yer, aile tipi, şiddete tanık olma ve şiddet eğitimi alma değişkenleri ile ŞİTÖ puan ortancası arasında (p<0.05), cinsiyet ile de TCRTÖ puan ortancası arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark saptanmıştır (p<0.05). Öğrencilerin TCRTÖ ve ŞİTÖ puan ortancaları arasında orta düzeyde güçlü (rs= -0.68), anlamlı ve negatif yönlü bir korelasyon saptanmıştır (p<0.05). Sonuç: Çalışma bulgularımıza göre öğrencilerin toplumsal cinsiyete yönelik tutumları eşitlikçi düzeye yaklaştıkça kadına yönelik şiddete karşı tutumları daha olumsuz olmaktadır. Kadına yönelik şiddet eğitiminin hemşirelere üniversite eğitimleri sırasında verilmesi ve toplumsal cinsiyet rollerine ilişkin eğitim programlarının yapılması önerilebilir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Objective: In our study is aimed to examine the attitudes of nursing students on gender roles and women's attitudes towards violence. Material and Methods: The descriptive study was conducted with a total of 618 students in Nursing Department. Data were collected from February to May 2018 with the data collection form, the Attitude regarding Violence Scale (ARVS) and the Gender Roles Attitude Scale (GRA). Results: The median age of the students was 20 (min-max= 17-36), the median score of GRA was 150 (min-max= 61-190), the median score of ARVS was 33.5 (min-max= 19-93) 51.8% of the students have witnessed women violence at least once in their lives and 21.4% have been exposed to violence. While 6.5% of the students stated that they had received training on violence against women as course content, 80.3% wanted to add violence lesson to the course curriculum. There were statistically significant differences between sex, place of residence, type of family, witnessing of violence and education of violence and ARVS median score (p<0.05), and between sex and GRA median score (p<0.05). There was a moderate strong (rs=-0.68), significant and negative correlation between the GRA and ARVS median scores of the students (p <0.05). Conclusion: According to our study findings, as the attitudes of the students towards the gender approaches to the level of equality, attitudes towards violence against women become more negative. The training of violence against women during the university education for nurses and the training programs on gender roles can be suggested. | en_US |
