Excess molar volumes (V-E) and viscosities were evaluated for binary mixtures of epichlorohydrine and alcohols (ethyl alcohol, methyl alcohol, i-propyl alcohol, and t-butyl alcohol) at 298.15 to 306.15 K. Excess molar volumes V-E were computed from density, while the excess Gibbs free energy of activation G*(E) was calculated from viscosity deviation eta. The results were applied to the Redlich-Kister equation. It was observed that all mixtures showed negative and positive values of V-E, evidently due to increased physical and chemical interactions between the components.en_US
